MUSICAL COLLECTION OF KEYS

I love music very much and I think it is the most honest, emotional,surprising, magical and unique art. Despite the fact that I chose painting as my lifework, there is still a musician within myself, although it is not my profession any more. The music brings bright colors into my life and helps me to cope with the most unpleasant situations. The delight from performing some music or listening to it is beyond words! During one of the concerts while singing it struck me that I would like to try to express my impressions of this beautiful music on canvas. This is the way some of my works dedicated to my favorite pieces of music came tolife. Now my “Musical Collections of Keys” series includes 16 abstract paintings. It is as bright and abstract as my impressions of musical works to which these paintings were created. Each picture has a story behind it. (see links under the photos). Three of the paintings were the 1st and the 2nd at the Artweeks of 2016 and 2017 at Artplay. Seven of them went to Hong Kong to take part in the exhibition Asian Contemporary Art and they have just came home.
